Build the writing habit you've been longing for!
The Writing Habit is a 21-day workshop designed to help you finally create a consistent, sustainable writing practice. For just 30 minutes a day, you’ll show up to write—alongside a supportive community and with gentle structure to keep you going. If you can't join us at the time of the daily calls, just commit to 30 minutes of writing a day to get the most out of this class and join us for the Monday evening sessions (see below in "What's Included" for times)
If you want to write more, feel blocked, or simply struggle to make time for your creative work, this workshop gives you the container, accountability, and encouragement you need.
What’s Included
✨ Weekday Writing Sessions
Join us Monday through Friday at 11-11:30am ET / 8-8:30am PT for a 30-minute Zoom writing session. Cameras on or off—just show up and write. Daily optional generative prompts will be provided each morning, or bring whatever project you’re already working on. (Note: We start class on a Tuesday and will end on a Tuesday)
✨ Weekly Tuesday Evening Workshops
Gather each Tuesday evening (7:00–8:15pm ET / 4:00–5:15pm PT) for reflection, conversation, and strategies that support a lasting writing practice. We’ll talk about resistance, ritual, accountability, and what truly helps writers keep going.
Why This Works
To be a writer, you have to write—but you don’t have to do it alone. Over 21 days, you’ll:
-
Build momentum through consistent daily practice
-
Strengthen your writing muscles in small, doable increments
-
Understand your personal barriers to writing
-
Create a rhythm you can carry long after the workshop ends
-
Feel supported by a community of fellow writers showing up with you
