Now in its third year, the "In the Rough" writing program takes a small cohort of eight writers through a two-year process to go from idea to a 300-page book manuscript. With four virtual retreats, monthly Zoom meetings that feature published authors sharing their wisdom, and an online classroom, it is a generative process that provides structure, inspiration, and motivation to finally sit down and write that book you've wanted to write for years.
Led by authors Patti Digh and Julie Gieseke. Cohort 3 will accept applications from September 15 - December 15, 2023; the Cohort will begin in January 2024 - January 2026.
